POPI Exemptions for your Municipality

Dear client,

The Protection of Personal Information Act applies to the processing of Personal Information by your municipality, whereas Municipalities as public bodies are exempted from complying with some of the provisions of POPI.

The attached document stipulates the provisions of POPI that your municipality does not have to comply with.
