CLOSURE OF PERIOD 13 & 14 FOR 2019/20 FINANCIAL PERIOD
This communication serves to remind the municipality to close period 13 & 14 subsequent to the submission of the 2019/20 Annual Financial Statements (AFS) for audit purposes. The municipality should exercise due care by ensuring that the Munsoft TB agrees to the AFS prior to closure of the applicable period.
Furthermore, the municipality should ensure that the PAUD & AUDA is submitted as required by the National Treasury prior to closure of the periods. Kindly note that the period(s) cannot be reopened once closed therefore all the above requirements must be met to ensure compliance. After the closure of Period 13 & 14, Period 15 will be available to process any prior year(s) adjustments.
