Benefits of mSCOA at Munsoft Annual General Meeting

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Munsoft AGM will place an emphasis on the latest stipulations from National Treasury and how Munsoft will undertake to enable Local Government using mSCOA.

mSCOA is a financial-reporting regulatory reform that has come into full effect in South Africa on 1 July 2017.  This reform represents a business-process-focused project that standardises all municipal accounting and reporting across the country.  mSCOA enforces the uniform collection of local government transactional information around seven key segments and fifteen fundamental business processes.

Municipalities are infrastructure-intensive organisations and make use of information management systems to effectively manage their infrastructure landscape, both in terms of finance and engineering. This requires the municipality to align business processes and link information management systems with the seven mSCOA segments to achieve the prescribed full life-cycle management strategy.

The introduction of the mSCOA by the South African National Treasury has altered the South African municipal operating environment and therefore ICT, as a business enabler, plays a major part in this business reform and successful adoption of mSCOA.

Munsoft hereby cordially invites all Chief Financial Officers, Budget Managers, Heads of ICT and Municipal Managers to attend the Munsoft AGM to be held from the 3rd to 5th of December 2017 at Sun City Soho Hotel, in the North West Province.

Limited seats are available and will be reserved on a first come first serve basis.  If you want to attend the AGM, please email the delegates’ full name, email address and cell phone number to [email protected].  Your booking will only be confirmed once an order and/or payment is received.  Your response is highly anticipated on or before the 9th of November 2017.

Munsoft is partially funding the event to reduce the cost per delegate to
R 12,500.00 excluding VAT.  Cost includes all meals, accommodation and conference fees for the entire duration of the AGM.  Room service and transport to and from Sun City are excluded.

Please contact Mr. N Rerani for further enquiries.

Yours sincerely,

Ndiafhi Rerani

Business Development Director
