Munsoft would like to remind all municipalities that the deadline for submission of 2018/19 Adjustment Budget is on the 28th of February 2019.
Please find attached detailed procedures to be followed, to complete the Adjustment Budget and B-Schedule in order for the ADJB Data Strings and B-Schedule to reconcile.
Munsoft is of the opinion that National Treasury will take a hard stance toward withholding equitable share if the deadline of 28 February is not met and the ADJB Data Strings and B-Schedule do not reconcile.
We would like to direct your attention to point 7 on the document attached to only use the Adjustment Budget captured on the Munsoft system for Council Approval as this will ensure the ADJB Data Strings to reconcile with the B-Schedule.
We advise that municipalities maintain regular communication with their respective Provincial Treasury to give an update on progress of the 2018/19 Adjustment Budget.
All Municipalities with a Consulting agreement will be contacted by their respective consultants for procedures to follow.
