Vacancy - Executive Head Of Sales - April 2024

Executive Head of Sales leads and guides the efforts of Client Relations team and Key Account Managers. Manage and maintain business standards for accuracy and reliability within all clients. Manages the entire Client journey through the Key Accounts Managers, Marketing Team and Clients Relations Team ensuring all clients queries are resolved. Strong balance of both strategic planning and active hands on approach is a must. This is a hands-on role with deep involvement in execution, leading from the front. Role Reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and forms part of the Management Committee.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage client expectations – operational and commercial
  • Ensure that each client is managed based on Client Plan
  • Ensure the timeous signing of Master Service Agreement with all Clients
  • Create and foster strong professional relationships at all levels within the client environment
  • Facilitate communication between clients, technical teams and 3rd party providers
  • Manage Client escalations and problem resolution
  • Manage Client contract negotiations as and when Executive interaction is required.
  • Investigate breaches in performance or quality
  • Ensure that team reports accurately and Salesforce is update with Client activities
  • Assist in all client financial queries including collection of outstanding invoices
  • Assist with the go to market strategy and collaborate with all internal company stakeholders
  • Ensure client satisfaction through the successful meeting of all SLA's
  • Conduct client service review meetings as per the agreed frequency

Requirements:

  1. Degree/National Diploma in Business/Accounting/ Administration or related field
  2. >Proven track record as a Key Accounts Director, Sales Management or a relevant role
  3. >Ability to influence and build credibility across all levels with collaborative relationships
  4. >Minimum 5years in management of Team in Sales/Client service/Business Development
  5. >Commercially competent
  6. >Good understanding of the Local Government landscape and the ICT systems
  7. >Experience negotiating at an executive level with good communication skills
  8. >Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities and problem solving skills
  9. >Strong organizational and planning skills with an ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
  10. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in non-routine environment
  11. Strong ICT Solution and business skills.
  12. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  13. Experienced in regional people management, team-oriented, able to communicate efficiently internally to ensure full buy-in
  14. Ability to travel
