Vacancy - Partner Manager - Dec 2021

The role is responsible for delivering Partner Management eco-system with key partners and channels.  Role Reports directly to the Head of Sales & Marketing and forms part of the Sales Leadership Team. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Proactive management of Vendors & Partners 
  • Develop, retain and grow a partner eco-system
  • Recruitment, Deploying and monitoring company Reseller Program 
  • Managing the Commercial Agreements of Vendors, Partners and Resellers
  • Driving strategic engagement with the Partners to maximize sales and market share
  • Developing frameworks, agreements and pricing strategies that keep company relevant and competitive in the market.
  • Establish & build a strong professional relationships with the Partners, Vendors & Resellers
  • Creating Sales Funnels and managing the Sales Pipeline with Partners 
  • Strategically advise with coordination and the submission of professional tender responses, proposals and quotes
  • Leverage Vendor & Partner Marketing programs
  • Development of the Go-to-Market plan with existing and agreed target 
  • Monitor changes in legal regulations and ensure compliance for all partners 
  • Actively participate in meetings with local sales team to align partner & sales strategies.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Business Administration or related field
  2. Minimum 5 years Partner / Vendor/Channel Management experience 
  3. Strong ICT Solution and commercial skills 
  4. Relationship management and influencing skills 
  5. Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment.
  6. Strong written and negotiation skills, including presentation skills
  7. Strong ethical behaviour
  8. Understanding of public sector eco system is an advantage
  9. Sales or Account Management experience is an advantage
  10. Experience negotiating at an executive level with good communication skills
  11. Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask in non-routine environment
  12. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  13. Ability to travel and a driver’s licence with a reliable transport
