Vacancy - Product Manager

Munsoft is currently looking for a seasoned Product Manager with proven experience within the South African municipal Financial management space with extensive experience in technical development and enhancement of a financial management systems through their knowledge and understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirements in affect.

The following attributes describes the successful candidate:

• 15 years + extensive technical, hands-on experience developing and managing the development of a financial management system.
• Extensive knowledge of mSCOA
• Extensive knowledge of GRAP
• Extensive knowledge and experience in dealing in specific functional areas such as Asset Management, Budgeting and Supply Chain Management.
• First hand experience of working in the municipal space advantageous
• Experience in digital transformation within the local municipal space
• Existing network of relationships within the industry and clientele
• Ability to foresee market changes and upcoming requirements
• Ability to understand and address operational issues arising from the user base.
• Ability to continuously prioritise and distill requirements from operational noise
• Outcome driven focus with can-do attitude
• Demonstrable ability to execute and deliver in accordance with business strategy
• Ability to mentor and guide team members and enable the successful onboarding of new team members
